Avery at 8 months

Avery continues to amaze me at how fast she is growing! She crawls everywhere and finds anything to pull up on. She gets so excited when she conquers that task. When she is finished with her naps she pulls up on the crib and screams for me to come and get her. She can't waste anytime being in the crib, she has better things to do with her time than sit or stand in a crib.

I think she is posing here.

Look at me, everyone!! This is fun!

Hello, get me out please....

Avery's Little Dance

Avery is a fantastic crawler now! She is everywhere, there is no stopping her (time to baby proof again). She loves cords and door stoppers. She has been doing a little dance when the music is on. She will move her legs back and forth, hop up on her knees, fall on all fours, and stretch her legs to a standing position on her hands. I think the pictures show what I am trying to describe. She is sooo happy!! I would not be surprised if she started walking in the next month or so.

American Girl

Alexandra has been asking for an Amerian Girl Doll for a while. Toby and I decided we would make it a Valentine/Birthday gift. While Alexandra was at school yesterday, we went and got her Felicity. When we got home Toby sat Felicity on the couch when Alexandra left the room. When she came back into the room she saw her and could not believe her eyes! Her reaction was priceless.... she said "Felicity, is she mine?""mommy and daddy, I am so proud of you!" Then she was speechless, I thought she was going to cry. She obviously LOVES Felicity and has become inseperable from her. I can't wait to see Alexandra's reaction when we take her to the American Doll store!

Priceless.....

Is she really here?

I love you, Felicity!!!

Friday Nights

Friday night our family planned on going out to dinner with the Weideman family. Toby and I were excited to go out as a family of four. We have not braved going out to eat as a family of four yet. We were headed to Cheddars at Firewheel to meet Randy, Dianne, and their two little ones. Their oldest daughter is a week older than Alexandra and their youngest daughter is two days older than Avery. We have been getting together for playdayes every since Ryan and Alexandra were a few months old. So we get to Cheddars and find out there is an hour wait. We go ahead and put our name on the waiting list. We call other restruants and find out they are the same. We decided we are not going to wait an hour to get seated and then who knows how long to order and get our food. We all decided to come back to our house so the kids can play. We got dinner on the way home and ate it here. The girls played dress up and the parents got to play the Wii while the babies hung out and played with some toys and each other. We all had a great time! We decided we would just go to each others houses until the kids got a little older. That just shows how long it has been since we have been out on a Friday night. What were we thinking?

Park Day

Friday we spent some of the day at the park with our neighbors. The kids had such a great time running around and playing on the equipment. The baby girls had a great time experimenting with grass! The moms enjoyed visiting, swinging with the little ones, and watching the older kids play. It was windy but that didn't keep anyone from having FUN!

Glamour Girl

Alexandra went to a birthday party at Sharky's this weekend. She got to dress up, get her hari and nails done, and have make-up put on. What a fantastic time she had! She was so excited to be treated like a movie star! Once everyone was pampered they had a fashion show. There was music playing and a t.v. they could see theirself on. Here are some pictures of her enjoying herself.
