Precious Moments

Since the temperatures dropped below 100 degrees we decided to take a trip to the Dallas Arboretum. Toby and I decided to do a photo shoot of the girls. My responsibility was to keep up with the girls and his responsibility was to take pictures of the girls. They had a fun time walking and running outside! They both enjoyed chasing the birds! We caught some sweet moments of the girls.

Backyard Blast

Misty and I decided to have a small waterpark in her backyard. They have a blow up slide pool for the big kids and I have a smaller pool for the little kids. So we took our pool and our water hose over to their backyard. It was funny how the big kids wanted to play in the little pool. The big kids couldn't stand not playing in the little pool so we did a switcharoo and let the little kids play in the big pool and the big kids in the little pool. The little ones had a blast! When the little ones got tired of the sun they blew bubbles in the shade. It didn't take long to wear all the kids out! What a great playdate! It is great to have such fun neighors!!

Great Wolf Lodge

We took the family on a mini vacation to The Great Wolf Lodge this summer! We had a wonderful time. We also met our neighbors there! Everyone had a great time and I highly recommend it for families of kids that LOVE to swim. Alexandra is such a fish. She was constinetly in the water when we were there. She liked the lazy river, wave pool, slides, and jumping across lilly pads. Nothing could stop her. She couldn't get enough of the water when she was there. Avery enjoyed herself too! She liked the fountains, slides, lazy river, and just walking around the park. I really enjoyed riding rides with Misty while our husbands watched the kids. We also returned the favor! We plan to make this a yearly event with our neighbors and I definelty will look forward to it every year. I know the kids will, too. Alexandra is ready to go back now!

Adventures in Sleepovers

We were grateful to have Meredith and her kiddos come and visit us for a few days! Alexandra really enjoyed having Cade around to play with. The young ones enjoyed each others company, too. There were lots of activites for all of the kids to keep busy. My favorite time was when all the kids were in bed and Meredith and I got to talk without being interupted! It's the little things that get you excited when you get older. I didn't get many but here are a few pictures showing how much fun everyone had. We look forward to our next adventure with the Braatens!

Chef Alexandra

Keli and Hadassah came to visit and we had a great time! Avery and Hadi played well together and really enjoyed eating cheetos together. Keli brought some pizza dough so we could make pizza for lunch. Alexandra was getting hungry so we let her make her own personal pizza. She did a really great job (watch out CiCi's Pizza)! It was delicious. Then we had our pizza which was wonderful too. Thanks for bringing the dough, Keli! I need to go and buy me a bread dough maker so we can make homemade pizza more often. Everyone had a great time and had no problem going down for naps.

Summer Playdates

Last week we got together with cousin Heather and her kids. We had a great time visiting and the kids had fun playing together. Joey was so sweet to Avery. He would make sure she had a toy to play with or snacks if she wanted them. Sami and Alexandra enjoyed hidding from the little ones. They were to busy and all over the place that I did not get many pictures. Heather and I had a good time catching up on life. Thanks Heather for the wonderful lunch you made us! We look forward the next playdate!!
